In a nation where communities often live in parallel realities,
Tzioney Derech (Landmarks) stands at the forefront of creating meaningful connections
that strengthen the social fabric of Israeli society.
Since 2012, we have been bridging divides and building understanding
between the diverse communities that call Israel home.

Our Focus

We work specifically with first-generation university students from Haredi and Arab communities—
young people who are breaking new ground in higher education and shaping Israel's future.
Through innovative programs that bring these students together with peers from other backgrounds,
we are cultivating the next generation of Israeli leaders who understand that our diversity is our strength.

Beliba Choma
Empowering Haredi academic success with dropout rates exceeding 50% among first-generation Haredi university students, we pair them with secular and religious-Zionist peers for weekly study sessions that address both academic gaps and cultural bridges.
Proven Results: Participating Haredi students maintain dropout rates of approximately 15% - dramatically lower than the general population. Over 90% of participants report satisfaction with the program and meaningful personal connections that transform their university experience. Mutual Enrichment: The secular student gains profound insights into Jewish textual tradition, while the Haredi student receives essential support in core subjects and academic writing.

Maayan BaMidbar
Operating across 22 campuses, this reciprocal program transforms campus dynamics by creating weekly partnerships where Arab students receive Hebrew language support and academic mentoring, while Jewish students learn spoken Arabic and gain authentic cultural insights.
The Innovation: Unlike traditional one-way assistance programs, Maayan BaMidbar is built on mutual benefit - each student both gives and receives, creating authentic partnerships between equals rather than charity relationships.
Growing Impact: Students report that these weekly sessions become sources of hope and understanding, even during the most challenging times, proving that genuine connection transcends political divisions.

Katif Israeli
Connecting Youth to Land and Community
Israel's agricultural settlements face critical labor shortages during harvest seasons. Katif Israeli (Israeli Harvest) creates agricultural communities that combine productive work with intensive cross-cultural encounter in the Golan, Galilee, and Arava regions.
The Experience: Students from diverse backgrounds work together while engaging in educational programming about Jewish identity, Israeli values, and environmental stewardship, strengthening both agricultural economy and social bonds.

The young people in our programs are writing a different story for Israel—
one friendship at a time, one shared experience at a time.
They understand that Israel's future depends not on walls between communities,
but on the bridges that connect them.
